You must be registered in our parish or at another Catholic parish.

If you recently registered, there is a three-month waiting period before a baptism date can be scheduled.

Parents and godparents are required to complete baptism preparation.

Once the certificate is provided, parents may schedule an appointment with the pastoral minister to set a date.

No dates will be given until all requirements are fulfilled.

Both parents and godparents are required to attend the baptism preparation unless they have completed a class within the past two years.

Certificates are valid for two years.

Childcare is not provided.

Godparents must be fully initiated in the Catholic faith, having received all three Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, First Communion, and Confirmation.

Godparents must be at least 16 years of age.

Godparents must be practicing Catholics who attend Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation.

Godparents must be in good standing with the Church. If married, the marriage must have taken place within the Catholic Church. If single, the individual must be living according to Church teaching.

A godparent may not be the parent of the child being baptized.

Up to two godparents may be appointed. If two are chosen, one must be male and one must be female.

If you wish to have your child Baptized at our parish but are currently registered at another parish, you must obtain a letter of permission from your Pastor.
